The patch is a bit different and there is no tag on the inside. Can someone give me some details on this style?

The "style" of this cap could be the "late reproduction Navy officer's cap style" in my opinion.

Thats a shame, because the seller has great feedback, and sells lots of militaria on ebay. I doubt he knew it was a repro.

These reproduction caps are very well made and fool a lot of folks.

Such is life in the fast lane of the Internet auctions.

When, and if, the new owner learns that his new cap is a reproduction cap, then perhaps $212.00 for experience isn't a bad investment after all.
