Madness of 2020 didn’t stop my friend who’s digging on the far east of Russia. Here is first unknown Japanese (?) item that he found. Can any one recognize what is it and were it use ?

It looks like someone identified the first item but the post disappeared. So here is the information again. It's the simulated propellant base unit for the practice version of the Type 10 hand and mortar grenade. It's like the one on the left with the staggered holes.

Tripod stay as is from 1945. When it was found it’s look’s like you see it on photo.
