    Translation Request - WW2 Canteen

    Hello all,

I just bought this WW2 canteen and I noticed there are two stamps on the bottom. One is stamped into the canteen and the other appears to be an ink stamp.

I’d appreciate any insight into what they say.

Thanks for the help in advance!

The indented date and the white ink stamp both are dated Showa 17 for 1942; the stamp also indicates "Osaka Branch Depot."
