I just bought this off ebay and its appears to be a nice salty piece that has seen better day. Just wanted to make sure there are no red flags. I can not see any shell stampings based on photos provided. Thanks for your help.

Totally legit as is. Liner should not be manipulated or it could easily break or tear. Recommend you don't put this on a display head or anything that applies force on the liner pads. Display in cool, temp controlled location to slow down further rust and leather decay
