Pistol lanyard help

Can anyone please help me confirm if this is a type of Nambu pistol lanyard the leather pieces are not present it’s about 40” long any help is appreciated. Thank you

I'm not sure what someone intended this piece of cord to be, but I can tell you it's not a real T-14 lanyard. Real Japanese lanyards were made of braided cotton cord. The cord shown looks very fuzzy, and I would guess is made of polyester. Turn a black light on it and see if it glows.

Hello the material is cotton and it has no glow anywhere on it

Weave is a close copy but James is correct - way to fuzzy.
Here is what the rope portion looks like on an authentic one

In regards to the original posted... the weave is wrong, color is wrong, and the consistency in the thickness of the cord also puts it in doubt as well.
