Help translating markings on a training rifle

The branding iron had a school name that has been purposefully obliterated. Something like:
甲大 or 口大 -- then carved out to resemble a walking person.

The smaller looks like
甲*大學

學 = 学

Some sort of High School (the equivalent of university today).
