These reproductions are starting to look pretty good, don't be fooled. This seller knows its a fake but is trying to pass it off as original, he obtains them from the same person making them in Japan.

Additionally, what this ebay seller ( japan_military_premium) does is list things that are for sale in Japan that he does not own. He marks the price up significantly and if it sells on Ebay, he will purchase the item in Japan and send it to Ebay winner while making a profit. If the item is at auction in Japan and sells for more than it sold on ebay or the ebay price doesn't achieve the items Japan sell price, the ebay winner gets an email that the transaction is canceled for a myriad of reasons. My problem isn't with this process but that in Japan this Pilots helmet is clearly labeled as a reproduction and this ebay seller never mentions it.

I've had problems with this guy. I bought two items from him. One he cancelled saying he had sold for the wrong price. The other, he shipped a totally different item then I had bought. Was told to return item. After doing so (with tracking) he refused to refund. Had to go the PP dispute route. Avoid at all cost imo. Seller has multiple ebay ID's.
