This helmet has Tsar era paint under the layers of black and I believe it was captured during the civil war and the Finnish army received a small amount of in 1919 from france, also in this picture the flash is under the ebay sellers (I don't have my pictures on my computer) thumb but the swastika on this side is pretty beat up the other side has a very very small dent on the flash and some paint is missing thereLast edited by Harrison farnam; 03-16-2018, 05:51 PM.Comment

The S on the front is for the Finnish civil Guard and looks to have a Artillery unit mark on the side of the helmet , The Fins did have some French helmets most I have seen have been used by the Fire service along side the Russian M17 helmetsComment
