    Help for shovels identification

    Hi, I have this two shovels.
    I don't know construction era and nation.
    Can someone help me?

      Both are German. The top one is the design used in WWI [and before] but it didn't change for WWII. Not sure when the folding variant was introduced but WWII or later.

      No idea whether these are original or not, but neither type is rare, so could easily be.

          Shovels.

          The non foldable one, ww1 type (or ww2) is a east german model, maube marked "bat" ? The cover also.
