    WTF is THIS?

    So, where the devil is this leather load bearing equipment belt from....and what a weird belt buckle.

    Any ideas?

          This is yugoslavian police belt buckle. The number on it is the identification number of the police officer. But in my oppinion this set is an unusual combination of belt with police buckle, Y-straps and ammunition pouches. I have not seen the photo of yugoslavian police officer wearing Y-straps jet.

              Great looking buckle. I woukd like to find one that has the numbers 358 somewhere in the series.

                It could be that somebody put it together for sale. Or it was carried at early years of Yugo war in 1990’s

                  It is from communist period. This kind of buckle was in use form 1967 to 1976 (information from the book Dva veka policije u Srbiji by B. Bogdanović).
