    THe Liner looks like a West German BGS, so I guess, it was stripped and polished for an unknown purpose.

          Loos to be stainless steel. Can be biker style helmet ?

            I was laso thinking about biker's helmet. Or some firefighter's parade issue. After quick search, Chile uses/ed a bit different shade and more bolts.
