    Just fond this french ww2 helmet with zeltbahn liner, ...strange ...it came from garage sale...
    Have some ever seen this Kind of modification before ?

    Would appear homemade in some way... doesn't seem that practical for use?

        I think Maybe the insigna was added after the war.

          I've had one like this with the liner also stamped with the Luftschutz eagle !
