Help with Sword ID

Hoping someone can tell me what this sword is and what period?

I think it is from Spain?

Blade is marked Toledo Spain on one side and on the other is PIC

Any help would be appreciated.

Spanish and I believe Franco period.

Spanish army officers M43 model, is use between 1943 and mid 1970´s.
Can´t tell exactly, but looks like a late period type. I mean, for the lack of details, the cut out eagle and painted cross, instead of enamel.
Looks much more like a chicken than an eagle!!!!

I´ve checked my sword, for comparison, and because I haven´t seen it for long, and
there´s no doubt. The piece you´re showing it´s a late model for sure. The cross has been painted, but could had been restored after enamel damage or chipped out.
But what denotes the period is the quality of the eagle, and lion´s head. Pretty bad in this case when compared to early models.
