    French Overcoat - Era?

I believe this is French based on the tailor's label and I assume it's artillery based on the red collar tabs and the crossed cannons on the shoulder straps. I also think it's for colonial troops based on the color of the coat. Amy information would be greatly appreciated, particularly as it it's age. Thanks innadvance for any help:

I should have mentioned that it is double breasted. Here's a closer view of the collar tabs:

I can post additional photos if that would be helpful. Here's a view of the insignia on the shoulder straps:

This is not a French Overcoat. It is a Swedish Coastal Artillery overcoat model 1939.

Thank you Gromow. The Paris tailor's label caused me to assume it was French and I doubt that I would have ever discovered it was Swedish without your help.

Bensimon is a famous surplus-fashion supplier in Paris .
They used to rework surplus clothes to fashion clothes ...

                  Klaus,
I am convinced it never had any insignia/numbers on the collar tabs as there is no sign of any holes. The red material is smooth and completely intact.

could be unissued, which would explain why never applied, since this was probably done at unit level. The condition in the photos certainly look very good.

So, bought unissued and re-sold, with the classy label, as a fashion item?
