    WW1 British Brodie with Lion Badge.

    Well i could definitely do with your International help folks, closes ive got is Luxembourg but to tell the truth in stumped!

    There are markings to the inside side of the helmet but not sure if its a name

        It looks like someone painted a Dutch lion on front of the helmet. Check Google for
        Dutch M 27 or M34 helmet plate. You'll see the similarity in design. As far as I know it's no official Dutch Army design / livery for I've never seen one. It's also unlikely it was done by a Dutch volunteer during WW1

            Thanks for the replies Interesting that it might well be Dutch, as for the lions on m27 Dutch helmets, lion for sure but i did notice no sword in hand, im going to see if i can find some ''State'' colours that might well match the colours on my helmet Anyway more comments would be great.

                    Indeed Pete, i can see were your coming from with the lose of paint above This sort of item can at times take time to identify, forums can be a great place to start if members have seen other examples, i did belive one of our European members might have some Knowledge on the insignia used All i can say is, Re used WW1 British helmet with a French/Belgium name to the inside
