Hi, mates !
Wanna show you the Austrian "Militärfallschirmspringer-Abzeichen in Bronze", the, Austrian Army paratrooper´s badge, (Bronze), awarded in the ÖBH, (Österreichisches Bundesheer/Austrian Bundesheer).
IMO this, particular, badge supposed to be the "IIIrd class" Para´s badge in the ÖBH.
The Austrian Army trainee has to jump six times, (400 meters, 300 meters, and, 250 meters by night and day with, or, without full equipment and weapons), during the basic class course.
This basic class course takes a period of three weeks.
The training took place in the "Lehrgruppe Zwei des Jagdkommando´s des Österreichischen Bundesheeres", ("Training Detachment Two" of the Austrian "Jagdkommando", aka, "Snake Eater´s").
The successful graduate has to be awarded with the "metal" Para´s badge.
The "cloth wings" badge has to be purchased by the soldier by himself.
Wanna show you the documents, (awarding certificates), and the badge, (measurements, ca. 67mm x 17mm).
BTW, my son, (soldier in an Austrian Bundesheer Airborne Bataillion), passed this, basic, military para training course and I´m showin´ here, in this thread, his own badge, and, his own documents.
Best regards,
R.
