Soviet Cossack shashka

Hi Fellas,
I have the option to buy this Soviet produced Cossack shashka...correct me if I'm wrong as i know nothing of these swords
The sword is included in with a German grouping coming from the Son of a deceased collector..

I'll post what pictures i have,hope you make some comments on the piece

The blade is minty though i only have the one pic,he's not trying to hide anything as he said he would supply all the pics as I requested .
