Made in Stockholm, Sweden but have not been able to pin down a Unit/Country and time period.

The crown is a prince crown for a swedish crownprince - the first in line to become king. G is for Gustaf so it is probably the monogram for crownprince Gustaf who became swedish king Gustaf V.

When was Gustaf Crown Prince, Daniel? Is there a regiment for him in the Swedish Army? Who's colonel he is, or the CP Bodyguard or some such?

Thanks, Daniel, for that great input. Looks like Gustav V was crowned in 1907. And Peter, you took the words right out of my mouth - was there a bodyguard company or some such unit that wore these buttons????

Wait - Found it! The Crown Prince Hussars "Kronprinsens Husarer" Regiment came into being in 1858 when Gustaf V was born, and was around for 25 years. Not clear why the unit did not exist for another several years until Gustaf V was crowned.

MANY Swedish immigrants in my area of the US so the buttons are likely family heirlooms - I found them in an estate.
