    Calling all bayonet wizards!

    Guys

this appeared the other day. I suspect an Argentine Marine Bayonet, 1891. But I need to know what to list it as. Help? Also whats a fair price on it?

    Cheers, Geof

It is Argentinian m1891 bayonet. Does it have a crest on the other side of the blade?

The other side is ground, where the crest would have been I expect. What is up with the brass handle? Is that a marine issue? I have seen these with a wooden hilt but not brass.

      Thanks
      Geof

These bayonets came with brass and aluminum handles. One navy one army. Wooden ones were model 1909 Argentinian Mauser.
