Hi Drago, the one on the left is a good luck "St Christopher" medalion. He is the patron Saint of travellers. Many Roman Catholics wear these. The other side features Pope John Paul. The second Arabic one I do not know, I am geussing but maybe Syrian???? The figure looks a little like the late President Assad to me?

      Cheers, Ade.

        Hi there-
The medal/token on the left is a religious medallion for good luck. It depicts (as it says) St Cristopher who is the protector of travellers. As for the medal on the right, something Syrian? Maybe others here know better? All the best

Hi Jim, I think it looks Syrian due to the figure looking like Assad but I don't read a word of Arabic.

            Cheers, Ade.

Thank you all. I have another unknown medal in the imperial section. Maybe you can help me with that too.

I thought Saint Christopher was no longer the saint of travellers?
