Checked that Emedals site - lots of fake BAF badges, including a well known fantasy piece.
Yes, and they sell, slowly, but they sell!
As for this second grade order for "Military Merit", I haven't seen one for sale recently, but if in that condition as showed and cased, a reasonable price could be well above 3000$
Hi Eric, hope you don't mind me answering to your pm here!
You need to know that the 3rd grade with the enamel chips posted last is not a WW2 issue, but a beautiful WW1 issue! The ribbon looks good as well, the enamel chips are not that big of a deal (IMO) and reasonable price for this order (without box) at today's market I'd say is around 700$
Hope this helps!
I compared the pictures and IMO it is the WW1 model on the photo, based on the leaf loop in the bottom. Am I right? So the breast stars differ between ww1 and ww2 for the same features?
Eric, the picture of the soldier's cross in the photo resembles a WWI issue cross!
Now, the differences between WWI and WWII orders For Military Merit are many, but most of all quality of execution, the edges in the middle of the cross arms and many more!
