    Franz Joseph Order, Officer's Cross

One of the finest and most beautiful of the Imperial Austrian Orders, is the Order of Franz Joseph. Just snagged this in Germany. Cased, ca. 1917 Officer's Cross, with War Decoration. I've had this cased before, but not with the KD. I look forward to seeing the case itself, as it is quite different than the usual. Here's the one I just confirmed purchase of. Will post additional pictures of this grade later today.

A Nice Knight's Cross with Kleine Decoration

Nice, cased Knight's Cross on the War Ribbon, obverse. Note the Kleine Decoration in real gold. This miniature signifies a subsequent award of the Officer's Cross to this individual.

                    Very nice

                    Rick,

Congrats on a great snag! Please post images of the case once it arrives. I, for one, am interested in taking a peek at it.

                      Rick,
It's always a pleasure to look at your medals. Each post has a surprise. Thanks, I hope you can keep it up. ABC says the economy sucks and your prizes are not cheap. I don't know how you and Ken do it, so consistantly. You guys must have won the lottery.
