    Help to ident this badge/pin

    Someone out there knows something about this badge, what nationality, what era.....etc.

    It's a Schliesien Eagle pinback (there was only one class but it could be worn with a ribbon on a bar or as a pinback). It was given mainly to Freikorps members who took part in the fighting in the east in 1919 defending the German east borders against the Poles. They were produced from the 20s to the 30s and then after the war. This looks like an early example.

          This must be the 2nd class. If you do a search on Silesian in Imperial forum you should get a lot more info.
