    Chinese Medal of Merit?

Recently picked up a group to a fellow who had been awarded the "Chinese Medal of Merit". I'm guessing that this was a pre-Communist award, as he served from 1938 through 1971 in the US Army. His bio never lists him as having served in China (the closest he ever got was Korea) but he was still awarded this decoration. Does anyone have a clue what this award looks like?

    Thanks!

I've looked for that one as well. David "Tex" Hill, a member of the Flying Tigers that flew for the Chinese Nationalists was also awarded this medal several times. I would like to know what one looks like and if post war examples can be obtained.Anyone know anything about these?
