    Unknown Pin....Imperial Russia?

I am closing my surplus store, cleaning up, and rediscovering lots of long lost items. I may have posted this pin years ago but can't find it now. So once again I ask if anyone knows anything about this enameled pin? I think it might be Russian, but that is just a guess. As always, thanks in advance.

Britishish style corwn, so my guess is costume jewellery from somewhere in the Empire.

Here is a flash enhanced photo which more clearly shows the double-eagle motif which led me to think Russia.

Um I don't not think its Russian.if it was then why is there a queen elizabeth style crown on it and not a Russian looking crown? Seems to be a fake or modern jewellery and the double motif is just for decoration

I think we can all agree that it is an odd duck. Perhaps old costume jewelery celebrating the marriages between descendents of the House of Windsor and the House of Romanov towards the end of the 19th century. But consensus would appear it is not military.

Uh unless the queen Elizabeth crown is proven to be added on at a later period then I would disagree with your point randy. The queen Victoria crown had a wider shape and a bigger oval arc shape that connects to the middle of the crown and in most cases there isn't any
white circles around the crown. Sorry man it isn't an old duck.
