      No idea. Can you give us a blow up of the square mark on the back? Is it a maker's/hall mark?

        Something religious pin etc probably. Angel wings, religious looking cross in the middle, not very military'ish

          Seems to me it's a british or American breakdown or gas station merchandise not anything close to military since the company wasn't around till the 1950s 60s
