    Pulmotor (mobile resperator)

    Hi everyone

I bought this pulmotor (mobile resperator) I think most things are there, except for the bottle, I was told that it was used during WW2, but I think it's from the 1920's, I've seen a picture of this here type used by German soldiers during WW2, but it has probably been a new model with eagle and swastika on the box lid.

It is so odd a thing I had to have it,
I just do not know what to do with it, I could not resist buying it. (If you collect, you collect, can not help it)

Very interesting. Draeger, of course, was famous for making breathing gear - for submariners, I thinbk and for sure for miner's. When I worked in the mines in Canada in the late 1970s, the older guys on the mine rescue squads still called their breathing masks - for going into underground gas and fire rescues - 'draeger gear'.

      pulmotor

      Hi Peter

Yes, I believe it was used for the pit because of the size, the same goes for submarines, I found a picture online that showed a car from USA with name on the side of which read "Pulmotor" (emergency vehicle) I think it was an old Ford 1915/1920, cool looking.
