    ID MP Mag Pouch?

I see this magazine pouch for a mp or something similar with stick magazines, seller say it "German", but rather doubt it. The way, that the loops and d-ring would indicate, that it sit seem to be strange: why a cleaning kit pouch on the front side (face inward)?

However: The shape resemble very early West German mag pouch for Beretta M38 somewhat, but I have yet to see good photo of these. I had assumed, that these are cut down Italian pouches from belt/carrier thing or a postwar version made to look such. Belt loop and strap style seem, like it would be different from photo.

So, what it is it? The loops and ring look like German style, but something about this say to me Communist Block.

looks like a variant of mag-pouches for PPS43

those PPS43 have been in use not only in Russia but also in some other commie countries and the pouch looks similar somehow - talking about the size of the compartments - like a russian PPS43 pouch i have in my collection

      Hi,
you have photo of your pouch to post? I have not seen PPS43 pouches match this - some slightly similar ones from Eastblock, but they lack many key features. I have this pouch now in my collection and find the cells very straight, if they could accept curved magazines, I not know. Size/form is better for 9mm MP magazines.

Here is thread in BRD section with my own photos, but still no positive ID. The metal parts seem almost American/British style, material Soviet and cut German??

      Regards
      Klaus
