      It appears to be of a British design. Can we see the other side of the grip area?

      How large is the muzzle ring on the crossguard?

          it's not a common bayonet, I dont ever see many of those for sale

            IMHO the bayonet is a Portuguese Model 1885. The spine of the blade at the crossguard should be marked Steyr and 1885 or 1886. The blade should also be marked OEWG which is the manufacturer.
