    Can someone identify these items?

    Hey guys,

these are some items found at an attic.

First up is this pistol/revolver?.It has (as far as I can read it) the markings AN..MODELXOF 878 I think?

    Next are 2 bayonets?

And finally a German "police" helmet?Original WW2 or not?

Any help would be welcome. Thanks for looking.

An early pin fire revolver - probably 1860s-70s, likely French or Belgian. Google 'pin fire revolver' and you'll see very similar ones, with the retractable trigger.

The bayonets may be German Mauser bayonets - not my speciality, so not sure.

The helmet is a German fire service helmet - M34 model - from the WW2 period.

Yes it appears to be the bayonet for the British No. 5 MK1 rifle. Not surprising that it was found in Denmark, around May 1945 several UK para teams (equipped with the No5) were sent to Denmark and Norway to oversee surrender of German troops.
