    Italian @1940?
May we see a close up of the cap badge and the collar badges?
    Thanks,

Maybe Turkish? Those pouches... and what about that super long bayonet, what is it? Turks had such /M89, 90, 03/ in WWI, but what about later?

The rest of his uniform looks pre-WWII Greek as well! About the mid-1930's I think. YA SOU!

              Best Regards

                Hi there-
The uniform does indeed look Greek, but I am not convinceed this is a Greek soldier. A close up of the collar tabs and cap cockade should clear things up. If, as it seems, there is a crown, then it excudes the years 1923-1935 when Greece was a republic. All the best

                    I just looked in Funkens' WW2 book-definetly Greek, @1940.

Thjs is a tough one . . . my old uniform text which is all drawings, no photos, shows that this could be Serb or Albanian as well as Greek. The leggings seem a little off for Greek, in my old text, but I am in no way a qualified expert, just a good guesser. A color photo would be extremely helpful.

Thanks for more info on that photo but now I am 100 % that soldier is Greek befor WW II periode. For Albanian to good dresssed and equiped and Serbian definetly not because they had totaly different uniforms in cut. Thanks again.
