    HJi guys,just found these old buckles....Seems to be French' buckles...
    Can you give me your help for identification and era ?

          Hello

          The large one is for a Garde Nationale cavalry officer, Restauration period
          The other one for a Ligne infantry officer, model 1845, probably Second Empire period

          Hope that helps, I like the cavalry one just in case...

            A friend of mine said me the large one could be "Mousquetaire du roi" RESTAURATION period.....?
            I can't find another example of it ..
            Any pictured example of one of this one....Garde Nationale cavalry officer, Restauration period or something else ?
            More opinions welcome...Thanks

              Now i have the reponse for the first buckle....it's a French "Garde Royale" buckle 1816...
