Maybe a Bulgarian Merit??

It is not Bulgarian, they use lion on their medals.

Leaning towards a Balkan medal of sorts...came with some others I could ID.

Good that we are narrowing it down.

The maker of the medal is from Slovenia former Yugoslavia. But reading about this south part of this Austrian state after 1918 became part of Yugoslavia and now Slovenia. What else Balkan medals did you get?

Hello Vix,
To me it looks more like Officers' Military Service decoration type of a ribbon . So not original to this order IMO.
