      Hello Pep,
First of all, thank you so much for sharing this star in this dedicated thread. I have similar ones with same pins and I will post them compared to yours in another reply. I have never seen one on a genuine uniform before, does the ribbon bar has a TWM ribbon as well?

      Tan

QUOTE=pep;8105551]close ups from the badge shown with the uniform. have no info about. perhaps you can let me know the maker and the time frame it was maked. [/QUOTE]

when I got the tunic, didn't come with all original awards. just the turkish star, the EK1 spange and the EK1 itself. fortunately, the military career of this general is traceable. so, I was able to order a high quality repro bar to have a proper display of the tunic. and yes, it features a twm ribbon.

Wow what a beauty, thank you for taking the time to share it here. The order of the medals seem to be different from the 6 piece bar that I have, we must make a comparison between them!

                      Agree; stellar bar.

If anyone has some more medal bars, would very much like to see them.

                        Tan,

I always believed that the foreign awards would always be on the end. I dig the bar. May pick up another star variant that I don’t have. I’m starting to collect these by makers. Matt

Tan heres another couple of items for you,
They all belong to one man he served in ,

                            2.Bayer.Fussartillerie.reg

I have all the full size ones as well,
Whats your opinion on the maker of the TWM and if its a German made one why does it come in a Turkish made case.

                                Hello Mark,

Thanks heaps for sharing those gems, what beauties! I believe the cloud of mystery still lays on the makers of the Turkish War Medal and it's packages and all that implies. I don't think anyone can definitely tell if those were made in Istanbul. It's been ages since I saw another genuine medal box made locally in Istanbul.

Well since we have a definite address, I checked it and guess what, the number 416 building is still stands and it houses a Turkish German Bookstore! I will be looking out for this maker and try to find some information. Maybe Mr. Demir Erman had heard of them before.
