Dutch WWI Helmet

Any thoughts from anyone on this Dutch helmet:

I've seen these from time to time. The shell looks OK, the paint seems wrong however.

Postwar repaint? The M-16/22 shown in Marzetti seems to have this lighter shade.

Dave Powers seemed to think it was right on target with the color. I've only seen one up close.

One thing to remember is that the Dutch didn't fight in the war so there is wartime/post-war paint. And for that reason a wartime color vs. a slightly later paint is a moot point.

I probably went a little higher than I should of on the helmet but I've always wanted one of these early era Dutch helmets. Should be a nice piece. I'll post photos when I get it.
