    What is this clock?????

    Hi,

Any ideas where this clock comes from? An aircraft, a truck, a car??? On the back there is a big circle, as wide as the body, which winds up the clock. In the middle there is a small knob for adjusting the time. There is also very tny manufacturer stamping on the back, saying Kohler & Co Laufamholz /the O in Kohler has dots ontop/. So, what is it? Thanks in advance! BTW, in its widest part, it is about 6,5 cm

That is a very rare clock that were only used in King Tigers You can put it on ebay as such and make a stack of cash.
Not really,. My guess is a car's clock. Looks like an early MB style clock

This is an automotive/travel clock. It could have come from a truck or a car. Clocks like this were also mounted in folding cases and used as travel clocks back then. Your clock appears to be WWII vintage - or w/in five years of WWII - either way, that is 1935 to 1949.

This clock is similar to German military clocks of the period. However, the dial and hands are a clear give away that this is not a military clock --- unless it happened to be in a motor vehicle used by the military.

                Best regards,
                Greg
