ammunition box

Greetings,
Can anyone help ID this box? I am suspecting Czech or German, from 1930's. The box is found in Turkey.

It's a box for german machine gun MG42 and its derivates - it can be WW2 period or post-war, these boxes were in use (and probbably still are) with Bundeswehr, ex-Yugoslavia etc. But I'm not expert to say if it's pre or post war. try posting in firearms section.

From the colour of the paint I would say post WWII use by Jugoslavia.
