French Aviator Cape Clip - WW1 or WW2?

This came in a box of misc. junk sent to me by an antique dealer. It looks like the classic Cape Clip that you see for various countries. This one has a French Aviation theme.

Is it WW1 or WW2?

it is not a WW1 relic.
I think 1930's item.
