Silver Star "Medal" KK Treue Husaren Aachen E V

This is silver plate, I think, with an enamalled design of a hussar riding a goat (or similar creature).......
It measures 68 mm across, & is solid die struck with no design to the rear which is flat.
Any (sensible) suggestions as to what it is please?

Hi,

that seems to be an award of one of the Karneval (carnival in english) clubs based in the german town of Aachen. These kind of awards are very wide-spread in the german Karneval clubs. Each one issues several of these commemorating special events like jubilees and the like. Some are also awarded for merit and/or achievement. There are also collectors over here who do only collect awards related to Karneval or Fasching (as it is called in southern Germany). If you do a little research on the internet you might probably been able to find more information on the club that is mentioned on the award.

Thanks, the goat seemed to indicate that the piece was a form of mickey-take. This one turned up in Banja Luka, Bosnia.
