I guess somewhat both, depending on pricing and whats out there. I'm admittedly quite clueless as to what is being back and what the price ranges are on such items.

Michael, nothing to feel stupid about we are all obviously collecters of militaria here. And there are people who collect for different reasons, I don't really have a problem with any of them. Except of course those who sell bogus items . Right now really good condition Republican Gaurd helmets can be found everywhere I look it seems for roughly $65-85.00. I finally recieved, after almost 11 months, a package I mailed myself from Iraq and so as soon as I can I'll post some pics for everyone. Should be some RPG bags, gasmasks, ect..Greg

Perry: Any idea of reputable online dealers selling any bring backs? I'd love to have a look at some of the items being brought back, possibly even snagging some if their for sale, but being in Australia makes it a bit of a challenge.

Ok let me give you and example of what I seen...U.S. helmet and cover, his jacket and boots, named to him and his signed statement on some type of Iraqi goverment letterhead stating he wore these in Iraqi freedom, etc, etc for $400
Iraqi helmets, $25 plain jane ugly regular army ones...$70 for ones that were camo'd, one with a picture of the vet holding it were he captured it..
        Fediyeen(spelling?) helmets $200
        Republican guard uniform...$125-$200
Flags with a picture of the vet holding it where he captured it,, $100-$150
Vases, towels, door knobs, silverware, uniforms of leaders in the wanted deck of cards(many with pictures) are pricey considering it's fresh..
These are ball park prices for what I've seen as of recent..
