I got this at emedals the other day, any idea on the history of the variety of CAC medal with the flat ring and no P. Grant? Was it a German one or a Romanian one? Here's a photo:

Hello Spoonman,

the flat ring it's ok is an Romanian production not have
notice of an German production of this medal I think is an
variant without the name; in this thread you can see the
rare paper packet and the same flat ring.
