    A romanian award

    Dear All,

What is this Romanian award that was awarded to a German Stuka pilot, and what was it awarded for?

    Thanks in advance

    Best regards,
    Al

It is the Order of Aeronautical Virtue (Ordinul "Virtutea Aeronautică"), sometimes called the Order of Aviation Merit. This is the Merit Cross of the order. This example is with swords and on the war ribbon, so that is consistent with it being awarded to a combat pilot.

It is not the Merit Cross, but the Golden Cross of this order.

Thanks ! And what would be the approximate value? Just a ball park figure to get the picture complete.
          Best regards,
          Al
