It looks to me like an original neck cross of the Merit Order of the Federal Republick of Germany.

Specifically, "The Grand Cross of Merit of The Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany" instituted in 1951. Without the case it came in (or the lapel device that came with it), it's impossible to tell specifically what degree of Grand Cross.

Interestingly, the original, official "order of precedence" for this award specified that a RKT who was awarded the cross you've just shown was supposed to wear it over (i.e. on top of) his RK...

Without a case - it might eventually sell for between $150 and $200 (US). (I've bought the same cross in a case with a breast star for about $300). A lot depends on the enamel: if it's pefectly done, $200 plus; if its lumpy and irregular (like so much '90's Steinhauer & Luck product), you probably couldn't get nore that $100 - assuming, of course, you could find someone who wanted to buy it at all.

My Spanish is rusty, but I think that "De nada" is what I'm supposed to say...

                            Nice one!
Looks like an older piece with "real" enamel, not the modern plastic-like stuff!

                            Best regards

                            Daniel
