It's ala Francais but babelfish does a pretty good job with the translation. The site is *very* detailed. Who ever did this not only has one helluva collection but knows how to make a nice website.

If you take notice of the footnotes that appear on this website, you will find that site creator has drawn his information from some of the foremost experts on Imperial Russian orders and medals. Most, like Durov, have only written in Russian up to this point. Having some of their research appear in French - which I can read somewhat easier I can Russian! - is a great boon. Thanks for posting this address!
