    Cross of Saint George

    Hi all, I posted this in the Imperial section but now I realize this is more International since it is a Russian decoraction..

    I had a few Czech WWII medals and I found this one in it. I tried to research it but it appears it is rare.

    It looks like it is St. George Cross 2nd Class...

    Please let me know if anyone knows any info on this one. It looks Gold to me right?? My eyes are not that good for color. I took pics with and without flash for easier viewing/comparison...

    I would say mid war 4th class (silver) (No bow on ribbon) do not see any guilt on it at all.

    Not rare by any means one of the more common of the WW1 period about 2millon being handed out by 1917
