Badge ID? N. Vietnam/Chinese?

Hello... Friend gave this to me and said it was N. Vietnamese. I looked in N. Vietnam awards, medals, etc and do not see this..

Anyone recogonize this item? Any help would be appreciated!

It is very light so perhaps an allow or aluminum. It is also non magnetic.

Hello Gromow... thank you very much for the informative response. This is amazing.. We both thought it was some cheap chinese trinket. It was with some North Vietnamese Medals so I assumed it was NVA. I really appreciate you taking a moment to respond and even include a link.
