    Medal unknown--possible reproduction

    I have one other unknown medal or it is posssibly a reproduction or fantasy piece. Can anyone help? Thanks !

    It that even enamel on it?

    Looks like paint.

    Can't seem to find the ribbon as well.

      I am not sure it is enamel. Looking at it through a loupe, I think it may be--but certainly not a high grade.

      My nephew got it in a small box at a pawn shop along with a very nice Prussian long service (25 year) railway badge and the walking medal from Arnhem that is posted just above this post.

      Whatever this medal is, it is not very high quality.

        Hi Don,

        That is "representing" Romanian order of Star, but clearly that is not a real deal - perhaps souvenir from museum or something like that - it looks to bad to be even a copy

          Thank you very much for identifying this medal. I agree it is too cheaply made to even be a copy, but certainly what it is supposed to represent.
