The knurled nut on the pommel is odd. Without that I might have agreed with 19th century [1800s], but that looks quite modern. OTOH, the handle is very nicely done and the etching on the guard is not too bad quality but only one side , so its not a 'tourist trap special'.

The Spanish have been making good blades for centuries and my guess - and its only a guess - is late 19th or early 20th century work, sold as a decorative piece to someone who wanted to be able to say "Yes, its Spanish steel".

So, one opinion and worth exactly as much as you paid for it!

It can be also a hunter's dagger for "mercy blow". These were popular fgrom middle ages to early 20th century and not all hunter's daggers had horn grips. The wire on the pommel looks weird indeed, but it can be later addition; originally there could be a rope/strap or some decorative hanger.
