Help reading Middle Eastern Writing on Bullet

    Hello,
Can anyone read this? Or tell me when it was used and what gun it would have been used by? I got a whole chain of these along with some British Enfiled 303 rounds..Looks to be the same as those. Any help would be great. THANKS!!

        Hello guys,
Thanks for the help. But what's confusing me is this about twelve feet of linked ammo.

The links are marked AA52 PRI. If this means that the ammo is for a AA-52 LMG, then the rounds should be 7.62 I think??? And Egypt is not listed as "User" of the weapon if you do a Wiki search.

So could this be for a different country? And are they really 7.62 rounds for an AA-52?

          Any help would be great!!

            Rounds

It is an AA52 link belt. The rounds, I am not sure. The AA52 used both 7.62 NATO and 7.5 French. The French would use 7.62 NATO when deployed, but would switch back to the 7.5 French when in France. The links are interchangeable with either round.

There were several African countries that used the AA52, so I am guessing it is from one of them.

Syrian mfg 7.5 French is a common sight to French shooters (although terrible ammo).

It's possible it could be this

it looks identical to the Syrian 7.5 headstamp shown

                I would guess it's Syrian 7.5 French
