Russian Marine Border Guard(Coast Guard)

Last patrol, we met up with some Russian Naval Borderguard members for an Op. Here are some of the things I managed to get during my time with them.

First up is the cap.

I noticed that many were still using the Communist era insignia, with the red star on top of the cocade. Still others had the the new Russian eagle over the cocade. This one has neither.

The cap is very heavy leather, with synthetic "fur". Very nice and high quality.

And a couple of patches. The first one belongs to some sort of police force. The second one belongs to the Border Guard sailors, as I saw it sewn onto their uniforms.

The First means Federal Border Service, the 2nd, I didn't saw before.

Here is a scan of it. This is the actual patch they were wearing on their dress uniforms.

Here is a photo of it in wear. They are coming on board for a tour. There were bands and etc. It was a pretty big deal.
